One of the most special trips.”Trip to Corvo” is a boat trip starting from Flores Island to Corvo Island.
Let yourself be dazzled by the blue immensity that seems to have no end: the spectacular view of the Atlantic Ocean.
Approximate tour duration: 7 hours.
Vessel with a maximum capacity of 30 people.
Schedule, lunches and route: depends on the group’s objective, and can be adjusted.
Skipper can change the return time depending on weather conditions.
Itinerary:
– Departure from Santa Cruz das Flores at 9 am;
– The first miles are sailed along the northeast coast of Flores to the north of the island. Stop in the Ponta Delgada area to visit the caves, waterfalls, rocks, Atlantic fauna and flora;
– Towards Corvo Island, with the company of cetaceans, such as whales and dolphins;
– Arrival in the village of Corvo where there will be vans (capacity for 8 people) with a local driver that will take us to the crater at the top of the island, Caldeirão. (optional);
– Back in the village, stop at the viewpoints with a view of Ilha das Flores in the background;
– Visit to the beach area, windmills to the old town center;
– Lunch (optional);
– Walking circuit in the narrow streets of the village, visit to the interpretation centre, souvenir shop, trip to the beach;
– Return to the boat, around 3 pm, with a 40-minute navigation (approximately) to the island of Flores.
